Wauwatosa
Kevin lived in Wauwatosa for almost 10 years while he worked at J C Penney, A O Smith, and M&I Trust, and Northwestern Mutual. He played softball at Hart Park in downtown Wauwatos every Friday in summer and stood in his first (and last I think) Apple line in Mayfair Mall there. The 76 Bike trail is 76 miles around Milwaukee plus another 20ish miles through the center of town with several trails in the many parkways of Wauwatosa. Kevin spent many hours on those trails and then frequented Balistrari's and Lalli's pizza to build up something to work off on the next ride :).
A O Smith / Tower
A O Smith Automotive Products was by far the largest of A O Smith Corporations products lines in it's hayday. A O Smith engineers used to be called the folks "who could make anything but a buck". When Henry Ford got credit universally for building the first assembly line, A O Smith was half of that effort and brought literally decades of assembly line experience with bicycles. They built and drove some of the most innovative assembly line automation and robotics to an industry hungry for it. It was an incredible place to work, but asside from the hundreds of accomplishments the groups we all worked with were always winning, the people there were the most incredible.
